Marc Zettler, NCARB, APTI - Owner / Managing Partner

Marc is an award winning Preservation Architect based in West Salem, WI. (Licensed in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Nebraska)  He brings enthusiasm and a passion for preservation to each project.  Marc earned a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies in 2004 and a Master of Architecture with a Certificate in Historic Preservation from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in 2006. With over 20 years experience, he has worked on numerous building types from downtown commercial buildings to county courthouses to Victorian mansions.  While specializing in historic buildings, he has worked on stand alone new construction that compliments, rather than competes with the built environment around it.  Marc serves the community by volunteering for multiple groups including Preservation Alliance of La Crosse and the West Salem Historical Society - Palmer-Gullickson Octagon House Committee.

Zettler Design Studio, LLC (ZDS) is a full service architecture firm specializing in preserving historic buildings.  Our approach to each project starts with listening to our clients needs and to what each building is trying to tell us.  Buildings are experienced by everyone, they are one of the few tangible links we have to our cultural heritage.  We feel that there is great value in preserving this heritage for present and future generations. ZDS covers the broad spectrum of preservation from period authentic restorations to adaptive reuse and new additions.
